The Current State of the Election Results…

Who will win?

As I write this I am listening to Guiliani’s press conference about the election results at the same time. The reason I am listening is that earlier on Facebook, I saw a Washington Times post about how Guiliani had some hair dye running down his face during the conference. Not really newsworthy, but the comments were interesting, to say the least. Every single one and that is not an exaggeration at all, were statements to the effect of “Wow! After everything that was said, you focus on this?” That led me to listen to the press conference, and wonder to myself, “Will Trump stay in power?”

Does it Matter?

One of my core beliefs as a Christian is that God has a plan and that plan will happen just as He wants it to. That being said, prayer, of course, can and does change things on earth, however, when God decides the time is up, it is up. To put things another way, in order for the “end-times” scenario to play out, there MUST be an active group of people that are trying to bring certain things to pass. The people who want to see the Third Temple built, those awaiting the imminent showing of the Jewish “messiah,” those that want a “cashless society,” and those that want a “one-world government,” are all on satan’s team, whether knowingly, or not. Call them illuminati, satanists, whatever you want to call them, it is safe to say the majority of them are not proclaiming Christ and Him risen! So does it really matter who wins the election, or even whether or not to vote?

Tricky Questions…

Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” is one of my favorite verses and I feel my understanding of it may be different than a lot of peoples. When I read this verse I do not hear that this is ONLY a spiritual war, although that most certainly is the point of it, and I think that is what a lot of people hear in this verse. When it states that it is not a war against flesh and blood, people assume it is speaking about the prayer and heavenly realms only when that is not what I believe it is saying. I believe it is speaking clearly to the fact that the rulers of this world, most of them to be sure, are corrupted into the satanic systems that have been put into place since the beginning. Spiritual wickedness in high places seems to cover all manner of  conspiracy theories out there, including the entire “QAnon” movement, although it seems unique in its attempt to make someone into the “good guy.” So that begs the question…

Again, does it matter?

If God has a plan and basically everyone on the ballot seems to be in some form of compromising position to those with even more power than they themselves have, then why bother? Why vote? To me, I think the best New Testament verse that speaks to this is Mark 12:17 “Then Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s. And they marveled at Him.” I am sure most have not looked at this verse in this way, but think about it. If you are a citizen and you have a civic duty, then that would in fact be giving unto Ceaser what is due him, in a way. So yes vote, but…

Beware the Cult of Personality!

Remember, Jesus is King, no matter who runs your country, and we must first give to God before we give to Ceaser. Of course, vote your conscience, but do it for someone that is a servant, and not a leader, and never cast your vote for someone just because of WHO they are, for if you do, you are surely overlooking who they ARE NOT, think about that…

Last thoughts on the election…

With everything I have said, it is important to say this, whoever is declared the Jewish “messiah,” the decision will be made based on certain things he does. One of those things will be peace for Israel. Now, does that sound like anyone who has made recent news? Have any big peace treaties been signed lately?
